John ThomasHello Tania,Nice to see a posting from someone who I might know. I probably was four years senior to you. I left PCS (after X) in '81 and went to KVS for XI and XII. I am trying to recollect here and if you are who I am guessing, then your house was in front of the park (mostly trees). I visited kiriburu in 2000, I met several past teachers, classmates and school mates who still live there. But I was disappointed in the way the town is kept (actually un-kept). I was very fortunate to have Ratanjeet Kaundal (my class mate) and Rajesh Kumar (he might be your class mate) come to kiriburu at the same time. Wespent three days there and it was fabulous.I am now in NY, I would love to hear from you and or others from Kiriburu. Wonder if you remember/know where my classmates, Ashit Banerjee, Ashok Mukherjee, Nasim Siddiue or Manoj Sarkar are?Cheers all,John (Reny)

Tania ChakrabortyThanks for your lovely msg. Yes I do remember you very well-You used to be our "John Bhaiya". Anita(Mini) and Leena are your sisters. Jomy is your uncle's daughter, She was very close friend of mine when we were in xith/xiith stds. After having my msg posted, I was little disappointed as it was without any response for long. I was really very exited after reading your posting. I am completely detached from all your frinds of Kiriburu. But I know that Ashok Mukherjee is working somewhere in Kolkata only, Will try to locate him. About others I really don't know. Pls let me know where " Jomy" stays now. I also visited Kiriburu in Dec'2000 with my inlaws and parents. It really has changed a lot. But we all still are nostalgic for Kiriburu - is'nt it. Afterall this is the place where we spent our childhood.Keep on posting.Bye- Take careTania
