Alumni.NET ModeratorAnnouncements for February 27, 2018 Seniors: The journalism class is starting to compile the senior edition of the newspaper and would like to include a baby picture of each senior. Please email a picture to Mrs. Harbaugh (gaunav@sjo.k12.il.us) or drop one in the office by Wednesday, March 7. Seniors: You will receive a handout with questions for the senior edition of the newspaper during advisory today. Please answer all questions in complete sentences. Return the handout to the office or Mrs. Harbaugh by Wed, March 7. Congratulations to the boys basketball team on winning the Regional championship. Their first round of Sectionals will be on Wednesday in Maroa at 7:00 pm. We will play Monticello. The theme is Blue Out! Let's be there and be loud! Are you 18 and older? Do you need a job? Champaign Park District has Operations positions available. Apply now at champaignparks.com Students wanting to sign up for the April 14th ACT test here at SJO – the deadline to sign up is March 9th. Go to www.act.org to sign up. Reminder to juniors signed up for SAT prep classes – the first session(math) is this week. You signed up for either Tuesday, Feb. 27th from 6-8 pm OR Saturday, March 3rd from 9-11 in Mrs. Rash's room. You may NOT switch days. Attention students – there is a new policy regarding PE exemptions. The new policy states that ANY student (not just juniors and seniors) involved in an extracurricular athletic program can be exempt from PE during their season. IF you would like to be exempt from PE during your sport, please let Mrs. Rein know so she can adjust your course requests for next year. Please do this ASAP. Thank you!!!
