Ronald GustavsonMedfield High School Multi-Class Reunion 1969 - 1975

Updated 5-30-2001: (All details subject to change)

It's my pleasure to bring you the latest update on ourAugust reunion...

The response deadline for this reunion has been extended to June 30, 2001. We very much appreciate the early reservations that we have received, as these allow us to plan for some activities and features that would be very difficult to add in the last weeks leading up to the event.

With the arrival of the initial deadline, response has been picking up, and the word seems to be getting out.

Rooms at the Radisson are being held until June 11, 2001. So, if you need or want a room at the hotel, do reserve it ASAP--even if you haven't sent your check in yet. The Radisson phone number is 508-478-7010. Remember to mention "Medfield High School Reunion" when you call. Other nearby hotels include Tage Inn (508-478-8243) and Days Inn (508-634-2499.)

We are proud to announce the entertainment for the August 11 event is Connecticut-based, Shaded Soul Band ( These capable performers have an extensive list of songs from the era, and will try to recreate the atmosphere of the Medfield Youth Center, circa 1970, minus some of the mind-altering substances. Much thanks to Ken Ferguson for finding this band.

We have reserved the American Legion in Medfield for a Sunday afternoon catered BBQ that will be open to MHS alumni from all years. So feel free to invite friends from other classes, as well as older or younger siblings. We will likely have a DJ on Sunday. This will be included in the ticket price (as long as we get enough people signed up for Saturday night!)

For alumni from other years, or classmates who are unable to attend the Saturday night banquet, the ticket price for the Sunday BBQ alone should be in the $10 to $12 range.

We are planning a "get reacquainted" tour on Saturday morning & early afternoon of either historic
